I installed an SSD as my system disk C:\ (Disk 1 ). The WD drive it replaced is now used as storage for archived files. This physical drive, 'Disk 2' has two partitions, G:\ and H:\ . The G:\ partition is 100MB, and according to Disk Management in Win-7 is labled 'System Reserved'. See screen shot.
The partition in question has a few hidden system files and folders that I believe are left over from when I made the drive switch:
$Recycle.Bin (folder) 03/20/12
Boot (folder) 05/02/11
System Volume Information (folder) 03/20/2012
Bootmgr (file) 11/20/2010
BOOTSECT.BAK (file) 05/02/2011
Since I no longer use this drive as my boot drive, can I safely delete these folders and files and remove this partition in order to reclaim the space? It's not really hurting anything, but I just wanted to clean thing up a little.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
