Well this isn't technically a Case Mod, but I figured that I would post it and show you guys anyway. I am painting one of my Gamecube controllers. It is going to be red on the front and silver on the back. I will get my little worklog pics up tonight.

OK here we go with the first round of pictures. These are basically the first part. I have almost all my painting done, but it is late and I don't feel like taking more pictures. So I will have the pictures of the colored shells in the morning, and the finished product the day after. Enjoy! Thanks to yes! for his great guide which has been flawless so far.

The Supplies

Don't Look its a naked controller

Time for a cleaning

This part is a little hard to see but you can kind of tell the controller was sanded.

Primed and ready to go!

More to come tomorrow

Mlbpro,
This is really cool! In its primed state, one piece of your game controller sort of looks like a visor for a Star Wars storm trooper. Anyway, this is going to look way better in red and silver than orange!

Ack! Naked controller pics!

I agree with Max, this is going to look way better in red and silver than the stock orange.

Whoa, really nice painting job, especially the silver. Will you be showing us a photo of it reassembled and in action with your Shuttle? Doesn't it match your Shuttle now?

Well it will probably match my shuttle, but it is a Nintendo Gamecube controller so it won't really be "in action" with my computer. But there will be photos tomorrow of it reassembled and ready to go.

My God its good to be home and finally post the pics of the controller! It turned out great in my opinion ^_^. Enjoy!

One more thing. I need some opinion on whether I should paint the plug silver or red. Tell me what you think!
