Radeon 9600 All-In-Wonder

I have been checking out this card because of the ability to stream and record tv on the pc. however i read it needed a p4 with ht. im going to be getting a amd processor so does anyone know how else i could be able to do this???

Nah, you're fine with an AMD, as long as its not a Duron 800MHz or something silly like that. Hyperthreading is always good though -- if you have two virtual processors, you can be working on your machine and have far less chance of a skip in your recording.

one more thing...is there some equivalent to ht with the amd processors. because this card suggests ht technology is there that equivalent in amd?

Nope, HT is unique to Intel.
