Sell CPU?

hi, i know that PCC usually one sells full computer systems but, i was wondering if you would be willing to sell me just an OEM AMD 2800+..... if you would be willing to do so how much could you sell it for?

Hi Steve!

We'd be happy to sell that CPU to you, but our pricing is centered around the idea that we're providing consulting, assembly, testing, and support. That's why its always less expensive to just buy parts. Take a look here (http://www.pugetsystems.com/faq.php#11) for more information.

That said, if anyone wants to just buy parts, we'll be happy to extend a 15% discount! We need to be clear though, that we do not provide support for the parts. Warranty, always! We just can't take the time to tell you how to use the part when we're only earning a few bucks on each :)

Now, for the good part! We're working on becoming a parts reseller. Right now, the biggest thing holding us back is the fact that we don't carry an inventory, but rather order in parts from our distributors as we need them. That's all about to change! Hmmm....well, one day when we sell thousands of CPU's a day, we'll be able to match that price....for now we'll just have to settle for being $9 more! But in all honesty, NewEgg is one of the FEW online retailers that I have nothing against, they do an excellent job...as long as you never need support! Their business model is excellent though -- they explicitly say "no support", and that's why they can keep those prices where they are. Excellent warranty service though.
