For which system? :-D Some of us are cuckoo for PCs and have too many. :wig Anyway, at this particular moment, I'm using an old PIII system that's still running Win98SE. I've been using it a lot to see how far I can push it and to see what it can still do. I picked this one up used in December. I'm very interested in so-called "vintage" PCs, as I like to tinker and experiment.

In terms of more modern equipment, I'll just focus on my most recent purchase, which has the following specs:
Compal 56 base laptop, dark blue with silver & black accents
15" SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) display
2.0GHz Pentium M Dothan CPU
1024MB PC2700 RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 Pro video card with 128MB dedicated VRAM
Hitachi 60GB 7200rpm HD
Toshiba DVD/CD-RW drive
Integrated WiFi
Onboard 56K, V.92 modem
Integrated SD slot
Lots of ports (USB 2.0, Firewire, PCMCIA, Infrared, etc.)
Sony USB floppy drive, blue
Logitech MX310 mouse, silver & black, useful for ambidextrous folks
SanDisk Cruzer pen drive, silver
Shinza Sleeve, black
Very nice laptop with matching accessories. ;-)
