HEy puget when will you guys add the new nForce 250 mobos? I heard that 3 are already out, but the mobos I can choose is so limiting in your site. Esspecially when thse mobos are much better, and about the same price.... :(
Epox 8KDA3+ nForce3 250Gb , Msi K8n Neo Platinum , Gigabyte K8NS pro
All are already out, and you should really upgrade your configurators. :curse

Sources tell me the ETA is 6/23....so most major brands will have one out by the end of the year. But pls update your configurators, cus most important part of a system is the mobo... :thumbs

*pats Jon on the back* there now... don't worry about that guy. He didn't really mean it. I just hope that his system doesn't arrive DOA, and some natural disaster doesn't wipe out all records of his purchase, though somehow Puget has a surplus of a few thousand dollars.
Oh, hello there, Iivi :wave

IiviIoFoZ
06-18-2004, 08:01 PM
Nope socket 754...
Edit: 939 is way to expensive now, peeps gonna wait till prices die down at the end of the year. We might even c pci-express and ddr2.

939 aint worth it, to expensive now. I wont upgrade my mobo/cpu for about a year and half atleast. :computer Ill wait till pci express mobos and ddr2 comes aout and is pretty cheap. Anyow im getting an A64 which is a 64 bit processor so it would kinda be in massproductions for Intel in a year or so. :)

I just read a review of the new Intel mobos with PCI-Express and DDR-II. Apparently, not only is DDR-II really expensive, but it doesn't even perform any better. It may be faster (DDR 533), but it's latencies are 4-4-4-12! And PCI-Express won't show any advantage over AGP 8x for a while (no programs even use more than 4X right now). But as you said, maybe in a year an a half...
But for now (and always ;-)), AMD pwns Intel :-D

Jon is such a n00b... :lol ..Yes amd pwnzors the Intel. And comptetion has always been good with AMD And Intel dropping there prices in the market, we as customers always like that. :)

Yep, when companies compete, it can only be good for the consumer!
(Unless they use dirty tactics like Hotmail blocking all mail from GMail...)
PCC-Richard

like Hotmail blocking all mail from GMail...
Whoa! Is that seriously happening? I hadn't heard that. :shock
TheMattrix
06-21-2004, 04:35 PM
Yep, and Yahoo is sending all mail from GMail to the "bulk mail" box.

Well, the story made it on to [H]ardOCP and Slashdot, but the site where it came from (http://www.gizmodo.com/archives/is-hotmail-blocking-gmail-invitations-015942.php) posted this update later...
You know, this is really getting blown out of proportion. I sent a few invites to Hotmail; they were bounced. I asked if anyone else had the same problems, a few people had, but most people said they could send to Hotmail just fine. The big story? There isn't one, as far as I can tell. If Hotmail is blocking Gmail invites, they aren't doing it on a widespread basis.
So maybe the story did get blown a little out of proportion.

And this thread DID get off topic! :shock
