My finance (Heidi) and I are putting in an offer on a house tomorrow Morning. Keep your fingers crossed! We may be changing from "poor" to "uber-poor" tomorrow :help

Poor and busy - always something with a house. I just got done ripping off my deck to fix a rot issue with the rim joist at the back door (thanks for not catching that mr home inspector). :curse I replaced all the decking at the same time, and I'm still screwing it down.

Next month the front steps are being rebuilt in stone - $4K (wouldn't that be a nice computer?), and I'm thinking the roof needs replacing sooner than I thought. :cry

Good luck!

I still think we could just build you a house out of spare processor fans.

It'd be cheap, and that way, in the summer, you could stay nice and cool!

Mmm...I don't know about a house, but someone built a case out of fans ;-)

Yeah, I leave Friday night for testing on Mon-Tues. Not looking forward to the 5-6 hour drive :(

Congrats, Jon! But I'll bet you've got more money than I do. As for the dorm-dwellers, I know how you feel. I, too, will be heading for some nice, non-air-conditioned, one-functional-window, must-share-with-a-roommate dorm action! Perfect for those late-night (read: all-night) programming runs.
