Well..I've been trying to play Far Cry again recently and I haven't played it since I installed my router. I started it up today and tried to connect, but it gives me an error message, 'Invalid CD Key', when I try and connect to a server. I read up on it some and it says that it can be a problem if your firewall blocks the connection to Ubi.com to verify the key. I have a D-Link DI-604. I tried forwarding the ports, but I may have done something wrong. Any ideas?
Try to run the router as DMZ then use capital leters when entering the key. If it says cd key in use log off wait 30 mins then try again. Also close ALL background tasks before starting the game. If it still says it UBI can issue a new cd key to you I'm pretty sure so call them.

Ok, well I tried the DMZ thing...no luck still. I got frustrated with my lack of progress on the problem, so I went ahead and even unplugged the router completely and just put the line from the modem directly into the computer. This is where it caught me off guard. It still won't work even after doing this! I turned off everything, McAfee Firewall and Windows Firewall, still nothing. Any more ideas?
I suggest calling UBI soft.
